I actually really appreciate you listing all of these down. I'm gonna give it a try since it seems like I'm gonna like it a lot.
Okay after reading till the latest chapter, my opinion has changed a lot. Basically the manga has grown on me & gets a lot better. (￣∇￣")
1. No harem
2. Mc's Hilarious craze for money
3. The way his takeover of the presidentship of the martial arts society in MCMAU changed the prospects for his entire university
4. Mc is a lot stronger now & the author seems to actually pay a lot more attention to fight techniques of the mc. Also battles are more interesting.
5. The mc's battle with his opponents are a mix of both funny as well as display of power & skills
6. All the highlighted female fighters are also skilled in their own way. In fact, the mc treats them equally like the male fighters. His fights with them are respectful towards their identity as martial artists. No over-booked females or silly female Infighting over the mc. The author has made his female characters very brilliantly ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
7. The femLes are also not wearing skimpy clothes for the male gaze. They dress like the fighters that they are in spartan outfits like their male counterparts. They are pretty of course but they haven't been drawn drooling over the mc everytime he breathes like the other Chinese manhua. A thousand kudos to the author & artist for finally creating a manga like this (●'◡'●)ﾉ
8. I love that the mc doesn't try to kill off all the other brilliant male mcs like wang, CCMAU's Prez, his own uni mate qingfeng (long haired green head)... in fact in chapter 234, they make a very cool team!
9. That cool yellow lion king! I like the relationship ship between mc & this jungle king. I want to see more of it. I love that this manga doesn't make another species easily tameable by humans. They are powerhouse on their own, intelligent & even superior to humans.
10. The mc is growing more powerful by the day but at the same time, his escapades from those stronger than him makes his character development the most interesting. He's basically an soul slytherin with the facade of a gryffindor (≧∀≦)
Take a chance on this manhua even if the chapters continue to frustrate you till arundel 100 chapters or so. It gets more & more engrossing after 150 chapters & you simply can't wait to read more(⌒▽⌒)
