to be fair (normally i would also think it was weird), i don't he ever genuinely saw her as his 'mother' like the others do. it was a weird arranged marriage after all too, being married to her much older husband at the age of 16? 17? is much weirder
Agreed. I wish he wasn’t attracted to her “that way” but I understand bc they’re both teenagers and it’s hard to find someone literally around your age as your mother.
He does but refuses to act on his feels for her out of respect for her. He cares far too much for her to hurt her and he knows his romantic feelings will hurt her. It's why he's trying so hard.
