There is. It comes up relatively soon (still a ways away) but where secondary genders are so new most people don't know anything yet. Early on, the wrld still treats awakened based on their born sex. After a few years they start being treated more by their secondary gender with increasing discrimination against omegas. MC talks about it on his first mission that's coming up.

This story focuses on the action, fantasy and magic side instead of the omegaverse thing. I highly recommend reading the novel.
