He was her partner all along, he just had a clouded heart so he wasn’t able to receive the seal. Once his heart was purified, the goddess gave him his seal and they lived happily ever after.

I binged the first season, and I don't want to continue reading it. It's like she just had to exist and shed some tears and the ML can do all the "saving" himself. QAQ Maybe I'm just not in the mood for this kind of FL, but I'm curious what happens with the seal so I tried reading up to the first half.
