He is being SELFLESS. Because he knows Seth has to go back. He knows that pieces have to fall in order for them to be together again, with no dangers. So, yes, he is hiding the pregnancy to Seth, but

He will have to go through it ALONE. He will go through the same damn thing but without Seth to help him through it. I am BETTING my five cents that something will go wrong down the line and he's the one who will suffer the most. Miscarriage? Danger for the baby and he? You name it. It will happen.
