Lawrence was exiled as well after he got framed for killing the queen of another country. Tbh I didn't 100 % get it. Idk if he actually killed her cause I think it was Tia and he just accidentally got into a position where he seemed to be the culprit. The emperor was generally unhappy with him because he 1. Didn't support his mother when she was exiled 2. Couldn't hold up compared to Cedric and 3. Was unthankful. He got a last chance and then he was framed for murder so he had to go
