The Duke makes no sense. Considering she has some sort of divine power, why would be kick her out?? Although he says she suspicious because she hasn't registered her divine ability— but why wouldn't the assumption be she doesn't know she has any....wouldn't it have been better for him to just ask right there and then .Considering that even if she attempted to try anything he would be powerful enough to stop her. Assuming that he is 'overly-catious' not interacting with her would've been the best course of action if he wanted to investigate her . He just met her and already harbours some sort of dissatisfaction with her is so oddly remarkable; the investigation lacked very poorly I'm sure with his power he would be able to find way more information about her.
