Yes that is true, since they have sir knight as a evidence/witness, Also with her power its nothing hard to do since they're just a Count fam in the end, there family is weak

I hope they address this issue:
The princess, a royalty has been threatened and almost k!lled by father and son. The act of the son from the first chapter was supposed to be enough to execute them and his family, and strip them all from their noble positions. Yet that didn't happen.
