Pls. know that Nakamura-sensei got health issues. Last year, she had surgery. The fact that she was still able to give use details is something to be thankful for. She can just either discontinue this or drop us an abrupt ending(by releasing a simple narrative) if she's demotivated.
If she's dragging this long maybe she needs to. For me though, I don't think the scenes added are unnecessary though.
