Well if you actually think from their perspective, jk treating dan like an object is fair from the beginning, because dan actually did it and sold himself for the money, not once but again and again, so even if jk has a soft spot for dan , paying off his debts and everything, he can't just treat him right because that's what their relationship is, it's money. And dan falling for him ? I mean who wouldn't at this point, jk is a celebrity who has helped him in so many ways possible. Dan was already tortured and living a hell of a life, and it was over by the help of jk. I mean it makes sense.
