My whole point
it's because "fujoshis" know that this is a trope like a girl coming up to the ml and making the mc feel insecure lol. its also common in shoujo. such an annoying trope.
Fujoshis when they see a girl approach the ML:
Like chill it’s not that serious. Man’s the head of the village and well known/popular. Also it’s common for Korean girls to call men older than them “oppa” even if they aren’t romantically involved or interested
