They are the pairing with the strongest fandom. I feel that way about Iruma and Clara. I want them to be best friends but nothing more. I feel like a relationship with Ameri would be much more mature and balanced than one with Clara, who has certain elements of co-dependency when it comes to Iruma.

I might be attacked for this but it kinda feels unnecessary? (my opinion) like its not rlly important to the plot at all. Its just kinda... there? And to prove my point further in every hundred chaps we get our mandatory ameri x iruma chapter. And im n
More of a love trio shipper. So like if u remove ameri x iruma from the story, nothing plot wise will change. (Expect the time when ameri fought in the amusement park arc) but if u remove the love trio SO MUCH WILL CHANGE! And so far its looking very onesided for ameri x iruma ( if u ignored what he said after the dance with ameri but thats debatable) but with love trio they love eachother so much and you dont even need to reach to say that either. And iruma is drawn with the love trio SO MUCH. They are even hidden in some of nishis artwork of iruma. Atp its borderline romantic. Oops im going on a Tangent abt love trio. But yes i agree so hard that it should stay onesided, but i highly doubt it would stay onesided bc all mangas love romances in their story. (=・ω・=)

I get what you mean about plot relevance, but I believe you are ignoring the fact that Ameri has had a lot to do with Iruma's character growth, more even than Azz and Clara I would say, since Iruma has always had that wall of his secret with Azz and Clara, but not really with Ameri, since her love for shojo manga has created in Iruma the expectation that she might not hate humans as much as regular demons. That is the reason the shojo plotline is there at all, to teach Iruma that he can share common interest with demons regardless of the fact that he's a human. In fact, the shojo book plotline was the first thing this happened and Iruma came to this realization, as Azz pretty much just followed Iruma on his own volition and he was intimidated at first, and Clara at the beginning was more a pet than a friend to him. Ameri was the first person to actually show him a sense of real companionship and that maybe opening himself to being friends with other powerful demons might not be so bad. Also, I should add, I believe the author is building Ameri to a big plot relevance later on, as the secret of Iruma being human is bound to cause a fracture in the status quo at some point and Sullivan will be unable to protect him. When it gets discovered, Clara will be by his side I believe, but it's very likely that they will introduce conflict with Alice, since his personal goals and beliefs will clash hard against the notion of Iruma not being a demon. It will not last, of course, since this is a friendships-trumps-everything manga, but in the meantime, Iruma will be prosecuted for being human, and I bet it will be Ameri who will protect him until things settle down.

I was referring to the romantic aspect. I wasnt saying ameri HERSELF is unimportant , i was saying the romantic was. I wasnt ignoring NONE of that.i didnt find it Revelent bc i wasnt referring to her character at all. She can be a helpful gal minus the romance. And i disagree with the ". Is a very sincere person. Clara was infact his first friend, she actually sees iruma as a friend vs her previous "friends" and so he sees her as a pet, it still shows a happy friendship regardless. And lets talk abt the REASON and why she fell in love with iruma. She fell in love bc he can read manga + when he bumped into her. Now it would be completely different if she fell in love with his character first Rather than "oh woaw he bumped in me like the ml did in the manga!!" Totally weak. I do wish the crush thing became later in the manga rather than early manga.
