at this point, instead of building isshin as a good match for chako he became the less likely match for her. tbh his only redeeming part is developing a tea that she will drink for a long time. if that was his intention of telling her he is meant to stay with her for a long time then it is not enough. bruh, if i was chako and he proposed while holding that tea for me then marriage it is but holding off whatever it is they should be discussing this long?? nuh bruh. too many misunderstanding, too many beeches around him, no info abt his life in general, and he can't even have the courage to tell chako anything without being hindered by whatever forces of evil is toooooo much.
With all her flaws and narrative issues, I really love the FL, that's why i don't want her to end up with the ml. Even when it looks like he cares for her, its not enough, it always feel onesided. She's been patient and supportive. Thats why I want her to have her own goals beyong the ml. A part of all her determination comes from wanting to build something with him. And this is crazy because even though he came up with a whole new product inspired by her (o something like that) still I dont feel he has the enough determination to build something with her, together. Im not even convinced that he wants to. He obviously has some issues going on with women, so I just hope the FL sets her boundaries.
