I actually hope you don't enjoy the story more so I can give you recommendations that fit your preference and make you leave here ASAP. It's unhealthy for you if you don't like toxic stories.
Honestly you're right. I keep reading hoping there's like a "sike,, there's no way this jack*ass is the male lead" , and everytime I'm dissapointed that the author tries to paint him as some "tsundere" type guy. He's so unlikable, he's a criminal, and it's infuriating.
toxicity is nice, but in this case, it doesn't sit right with me how dan must stay with someone who constantly r*pes you and never listens to your protests because that person knows that you are in dire need of money. shit's crazy
yeah fr, i mean i read many mangas with toxic and criminal leads, but they usually leave the bodies of their partners alone :/
i'm trying to anticipate a good character and relationship development, but i can't imagine that after the multiple occasions of r*pe in this story. and there's no need to sugarcoat or overanalyze anything, dan just went through pure r*pe many times already and i'm having a hard time enjoying the relationship
