So the thing with Parve's mother-countess of Assar, she lives life as if it's a game of chess, you can see in one of the recent chapters that she plays chess right? It'll be revealed in later chapters that she was a child prodige in chess and it apparently intrigued nobles enough to challenge her to the point that after beating all of these nobles, she found life boring with no one else left to beat anymore. So she decided to challenge god on a game of chess, or in this case, a game of fate(more backstory stuff, it's so long, just her being pissed about why was she born as a poor noble and had to work her ass off to become succesful so she has had it out for god for giving her this fate in life).
She lives the thrill of playing against fate so she calculates all of her moves. What caught her off guard though was that she was fertile(before she got together with Duke Kriminov, she was married to count Assar and everyone thought she was infertile cus she never got preggers, i believe Count Assar had a mistress that bore a kid but HUGE i think--the kid wasn't his or something so Countess assar got all of the rights to succession when the Count died???? Idk). When Duke Kriminov was still courting her, he sent her a Stableman Servant to "work for her" she basically read in between the lines and had her fun. When she confirmed she was preggers, she got rid of the stableperson(killed) and hoped that Parve would be born with black hair and have her eyes so it's not too obvious.
So at that point she thought she lost the game but took it in a stride, had Duke Kriminov agree that Parve will inherit Countess Assar's title while Duke's son from his first marriage will inherit his title. That was until she and Duke Kriminov had their own child and plans changed, she ended up being satisfied about Parve being a bastard and both Parve and Countess Assar basically played it up to the public. Parve's the type of child that's like...idk how to describe it, "mature" in a sense? I'd say both he and Countess are alike(which is spoilers, Duke Kriminov hated his bloodline and family name so much, he wanted it to basically end with him and pass off the wealth to Countess Assar then to Parve).
So we see in the new chapter that Parve got a Stigma right? Countess Assar, i believvveee that she saw it as God trying to interfere with her fate again because Parve is HER chesspiece and God is basically trying to claim him. Soon she ended up basically thinking "fuck you god, he's MY chess piece, i'm taking him back" stuff happened and she end up losing "the game" in which we saw in the first timeline where she dies of poisoning(it wasn't Parve who poisoned her btw). BASICALLY, the story loves to compare the life of the characters to chess a lot. There's multiple chessboards apparently, God's, Countess Assar's, Duke Mayee and SPOILERS

This will literally happen in the next chapter of the manwha, it's been hinted a lot but it's just huge spoilers, i don't wanna ruin the surprise, it's literally the next chapter
Please do, despite it being MTL, it's surprisingly legible. Also lol! I'm kinda neutral on her but she does donduct herself like a stereotypical asshole noble ngl. Idk how her youngest son turned out like an cinnamonroll. I feel like she probs raised him that way....cus she will end up accepting her GF/chosen fiance to be..Duke Kriminov will end up comparing countess to the GF, in that they're both capable self made women. Poor nobility but found great success in life. The only difference is the GF is sweet and more human i'd say. She doesn't have the aura/attitude of a blue blood noble.
I am probably missing something but does Parvels mother not like him? I know they are at odds always and I keep reading that he's treated like a b@stard n all.. whats up with his situation.. my brain is not braining
