You've made me interested in this. I dropped it because it was too dark for me. I read this at the beginning of my BL journey, so maybe it was too early. I wasn't a teen or something but just a pure-minded newbie.

I'm here to say thank you for mentioning that this is worth reading. I really enjoyed it. And as you've said it isn't so dark. I was definitely not experienced enough when I tried to read it for the first time. The final chapters were bitter-sweet leaning towards the heartbreaking side.

When I read it for the first time, I dropped it at the beginning so I didn't have a chance to hate him. The main problem was the main couple and their behavior. It was too much for me. But now I didn't dislike them so much- still, seme is a douche. And I really liked Ryan and the second couple's histories.
ahh rereading this after a long time really brings the memories back. For some reason i remembered i thought of this manhwa as dark but now that i read it again it's actually not that dark and the plot is really nice. I remembered I hated Ryan so much but now I understand why abhahaa maybe i was too young before
