I feel like Yiseon came to a conclusion while having a breakdown in his bed. He is now laying all his cards open and confessing to Hyeon. But not because he hopes to have his feeling reciprocated or have a blossoming love. No. He will ask hyeon for permission to participate in the final dungeon with the sole purpose of going out with a bang. He‘ll go in there with the goal to not come out again. Dying the same fate his friends did. Next to the people he‘s come to cherish and the one he loves. He‘ll want to die the martyr death.
