He's afraid of killing someone again. Isn't there a chapter that shows his memory of one day in a hotel with one of his past "lovers" and then the guy did something bad to Shin, and in the next panel he was laying bloody in the sheets
I don't remember well, but I think it was next to when he was contracted to the lump park
He didn’t kill that guy, he was his previous lover, Shin just hit him really hard and then the guy proceeded to sue Shin and Shin couldn’t work at regular garages anymore that’s why he was working on the streets when Jake first found him

But I do agree that Shin is afraid of having to kill someone. Must be because it’s the only thing the he can’t take back, it’s a point of no return. And I hope Jake kills this guy before Shin has to, my baby doesn’t deserve this one more trauma :’)
