A pretty wild guess from theory, and from some clue in the chapter. I think mc was forced to marry the Duke, and she probably have a lovers already. Maybe that why she hate him and the child. I guess the lover is probably the other guy, which his son is the protagonist yellow hair little kids. That is my guess bc in ch.10 it show some flashback of her saying why he doesn't look at her or sth. Idk if that is about her lover or to her husband, but just a guess. And the reason I think it is the other guy, bc og mom only give gift to the other kids but not her son. Don't take my word for it, I'm just guessing.

OgMC used to love her husband when they just married. But later she found out that her mother (she was a maid) was sold to her husband's household. And husband's mother killed MC's mother. So she hates her husband's family and neglected her son.
That’s complicated and I understand that all her hatred was directed towards her husband and child for what her mother-in-law did.
