My comment….where I stated it’s grey area and people voting it up and down is because I legit spent some time, reading up on what “Hypnotism” really is and what it isn’t. I said it’s grey area because the author named this manhua placebo- if you understand what placebos really are, this make you think about the author is trying to allude to. If the author is writing the manhua under the Hollywood perception of hypnotism then YES its rape BUT if it’s REAL world hypnotism it’s complicated to prove because You can’t hypnotize people to do things like “have sex with you”-
I judge things based on what's obvious at the moment and my pov might change as the story moves forward and I gain more info. However, regardless of everything, including logical understanding of hypnotism, what the story portrays is that the uke is NOT aware of having sex. Now this might go totally against what and how hypnotism actually is but an author doesn't have to write stories based on actual psychological facts. They can play around with things just like other stories, where we see robots becoming humans, men getting pregnant, etc. As for the placebo you mentioned, yes I am aware of what that is! Even if that's the case and them having sex is not a result of hypnotism, would that make it okay to fuck someone without proper consent? In my opinion, NO. Just wanting something deep down inside is not equal to giving consent and one must be clear about such things. At the end, I wasn't mentioning you in particular when I was posting since I didn't even see your comment but I do agree that things could be a little different than what we know at the moment. But at the end of the day I still call this rape and I'm not even an uptight person with a stick up my ass
What I’ve been tip toeing around and not flat out stating it is I’m hoping this is titled Placebo because closer towards the end there will be a twist reveal that the older brother was never actually hypnotized. That the older brother subconsciously “played” along because he didn’t want to admit to himself that he has feelings for his step brother. That would be mind blowing to me, but that could just be own wishfully thinking and I could be completely wrong and this is Hollywood hypnotism and the younger brother is raping his older brother. If I am wrong I do give kudos to the author for choosing this title because it made me want to think deeply about this manhua

Some comments are concerning! Nothing justifies rape, or even worse raping without the victim even realizing. Honestly this all goes back to how fucked up their parents were. You should never make a child feel inferior to their siblings, specially step siblings
