Yes, the chemistry in my opinion is just way too darn good. The rest of the characters are also pretty noice. Just give it a try one more time and let it flow. (The point you made was honestly pretty logical but I was able to look past it and there are some scenes in the later chapters where we see how good of a agent candy is so just try to ignore that lil part that may not make sense T-T)
I definitely understand your point of view. I didn't think much of it since I just considered it a part of his personality. I think it also adds to the fact that for Candy it's the first time he has different feelings for a man, nonetheless. It was literally his first time and all, along with that his usual charms which worked on women, most likely we're not going to work on a man. I definitely do recommend you to read it! The actual plot of the story is pretty good, there a little twist and we get to see Candy in action. I just love a handsome man kicking ass effortlessly
Dropped it because the story made no sense and I couldn't suspend my disbelief enough (if he's the best agent but gets flustered and lost for words that easily, how bad are the other guys??)
Does it get better? Is it worth another try?
