Karel personally gifted him Ballet shoes, took him out, cooked for him, asks for consent, always worries about his health.
It's not his fault for not understanding what's going on with Sasya. Like we don't even know, not everyone is a therapist and sadly he suffered a lot for saving and loving sasya.“ seems like you fail to realize that ppl were making comments how Sasya didn’t even care to write a letter and then it shows him writing a letter for Karel. I think it’s save to say it is a gotcha moment just like the moment you got

Yeah ikr. She is pretty smart. I underestimated her, seems she grew up over that super period of time.
Everyone is acting like a gotcha moment happened when it rlly didn't change that much. He tried to send one letter then failed. Then stopped， I don't fault him for safety reasons, but his whole speech literally backs up that he got what he wanted(invitation) and was leaving him and the house.
Like he never intended to meet him again from his statement, no one loved me as much as him etc and goodbye. He then talked about himself and not once but how Karel could be dead in the front lines. He seems more jealous how Karel liked him more than the lady, especially when she said all the things he sacrificed for him. (Narcissism?) Did he thank her for getting him out?
Could he not even leave a letter? Like "I'm at the institute come to me" or even a apology?(i see no ounce of care for Karel).
My theory is he WAS leaving him for good. And I don't see anything contradicting that.
