Exactly!!! Not only are they not even asking if she wants the position, they never even tried to prepare her for it! Do they seriously think that the basic education of a noblewoman is enough for her to be able to lead an entire empire? It just goes to show that they never wanted a “proper” heir but a puppet on the throne.

I hate her family so much dude oml. If i was in her shoes I would be livid. Aint no way they just go behind my back like that and act like im their ticket to royalty. If they kept insisting on making me empress without my consent i would even go back on my word and let rupert execute them for treason cuz thats exactly what they want to do.
