That was in the past. My problem is that Soohyun went to great lengths to conceal the truth from Joo Hyuk. He pretend he was a security guard, planted himself next to his mate, allowed himself to be abused for a whole year, but didn't at any time choose to tell Joo Hyuk tha, "Hey man, I'm still alive. It's me". At least give Joo Hyuk the chance to know he's alive. But instead, he carried on pretending until he left in the end. What was the point of that? I still wonder.
I can't help thinking all the pain and despair in this story could have been avoided if only Soohyun had disclosed his identity to Joo Hyuk from the start, instead of pretending to be someone he's not.
He endured and subjected everyone to an unnecessary journey filled with anguish when at every point, he had the power to end it by just coming clean.
So, the whole story just does not make any sense to me...
