Like i get wilhelm sees this as something he can do "for" Rein but like dude.... youre doing all this "seduction plan" behind Rein's back after she has accepted your confession. Thats just straight up wrong.
Like, from Rein's viewpoint what wilhelm is doing is literally cheating on her... i dont care if wilhelm swears his heart to Rein and gets upset when she doubts him cuz he literally gave Rein reasons to doubt him..
Rein even does her best to not doubt wilhelm despite having red alarms blaring at her (he knows who his dad is, he clearly doing something behind her back, glencia's warning) and its just ughhh ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
Additionally, wilhelm doesnt give a shit abt any consequences. Like bruh, theres rumours of him and Rein being lovers and here he is pretending to be the crown princess side bitch like how does he not see how this would affect Rein?? Like how back then he would kill comrades mercilessly cuz they spoke ill will of her... does he think Rein would want all the people who say bad things abt her to all die??? Like the one person she wants to kill mercilessly is the crown prince and her wilhelm is unnecessarily adding the crown princess to the pile (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Sorry for the long rant, its just that this manwha is rlly irritating me. Reading this feels like scratching and itch but just the surroundings of the itch and then moving on to another itch to do the exact same thing... ╥﹏╥
Mhm, I agree, Wilhelm’s “love” is closer to obsession or wanting to monopolize her than actual love, and yes yes I know he’s a yandere or whatever it’s just sad to see such a strong woman lose the good cards she had to a man like him
Don’t get me wrong I love this story, it’s twisted and a great read, but I get so sad knowing Reinhard’s plans and revenge were ruined by Wilhelm and that it seems she’ll never *truly* be in control of her life,
And yes I know Wilhelm is doing her revenge for her but it’s not the same, she’s just another woman in the palms of a man who thinks he knows the best path…
