I’m pretty sure that I has a similar concept to MACBETH where killing the king is a cosmic crime/sin and they are believed to be chosen by god. I know that in ancient china they believe that the emperor was chosen by the gods above and that he shouldn’t be kill unless the gods kill him themselves. ( just a theory tho so plz don’t come after me if I’m wrong #－.－) )
He is going after his son wife, so nasty. Also, if they want the ml to become emperor so bad, can't they just kill the emperor and overtake him. Why even bother to follow the rule.
