I just started reading this after all the hype and just finished chapter 1... I'm pretty sure Jaekyung has brain damage consistent with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). Not sure if Mingwa did this purposefully to show the effects of CTE as it's a huge issue in pro-level high impact sports like American football and boxing. If she did, I'm glad she's touching on it. But I'm going to be seriously upset later if she uses CTE to excuse and wave off Jaekyung's horrible treatment of Dan
