Maybe it’s because the tension between them is very intriguing and the emperor is hot for an old man but people are forgetting that he chose another girl over current empress. He even had the audacity to say “you’ve always been my woman” when he only went back to her once 1st empress died.
did I miss something or why are people in love with the emperor and the emperor as a couple? Did he not cheat on her with that pink card girl,not the main girl, the other one.
