At some point, Etienne goes into heat while Rishar is visiting him. They spend 3 days together, so pretty much all the prince's household catches on. Then Rishar confesses, but it takes Etienne a while to come around. Then the public and the emperor find out Etienne is an omega but by that time, him and Rishar marked each other. Then Rishar starts a public campaign to advocate for Etienne being crown prince and reluctantly, at some point, the emperor agrees. Rishar punishes the empress for her poor treatment of Etienne making her take the same medicine as Etienne did and some torture. Etienne and Rishar have 2 kids, an older alpha boy and a younger omega daughter. The emperor is close to the kids and him an Etienne have a better relationship.
But boy, this is something really slow pacing in this manhua adaptation
Did the emperor apologize or suffer? Cause he deserves that as much as the empress.
He kinda apologises. I'm personally far from satisfied with his character development.
He loved Rishar's mother, hence the blatant discrimination between his own child and Rishar.
Just another small bit of trivia, after Etienne is confirmed as a competent crown prince and future emperor, he wants to hand over the throne to him. But Rishar pushes back so that Etienne can spend time with his newly established family
