Honestly I have read so much worst than this to the point of real disgust like wanting to puke. This is nothing compared to those I have read like that and seeing ppl all worked up for this is ridiculous.
Oh you didn't witness the day's worth of long drama and fights, taking sides, death threats, finger pointing, accusations and all that. It was mind numbing and amazing.
So imo it's the extreme hate viewpoint that makes everyone hate it so much. Herd mentality? Expectations from Mingwa? Kind of thing

And bj alex was a lot of people's first yaoi, a story they have read like 10 times. So it's popularity and a better plot expectations plus controversy pushed it up the ranks, garnered hatred and fans and...well you get it
honestly youre so real for this. like okay this story may not be the most “morally pure” but like ?? there are much much worse stories out there so i don’t see the point of hating on this. just because this is a bl doesn’t mean it has to be flowers and bees.
although i do have to agree that in case of this manhwa it’s borderline romantizing questionable consent or even non con. but i mean, it’s still a beginning of the story and from what it seems it will be a long one. as long as the author themselves shows/comments somehow that yk this is not exactly good then i don’t have problem with that. and honestly, im starting to think that the way the story is portrayed is purposely done, like you can clearly see that it’s a fucked up situation and so far there’s no idealizing things as in the readers clearly see that this is wrong and it’s not like the author is trying to show this in good light. an example of a story where the author clearly does the opposite is “sadistic beauty bl side story”. so i think here it’s on purpose and i’m curious how the story will progress. and people need to grow a pair of balls and either stop whining or stop reading.
OMG Exactly!! I read Sadistic Beauty side story B and that is one that I was like wtf? Like breaking someone's legs in order to make him his. Then in the end they get together because they basically deserved each other? Now that was F'ed up. Completely worse than this. And I agree with what you said. It makes so much sense.

Went to the comments before reading the new chap and read so much hate, I imagined something more severe but then . Okay, am I just detached, or I might have read things worse than this so I feel that this isn't as bad as some people are making it out to be?
