Yes, it's sort of disappointing to see nothing but a line of what the fuck did I just read and the judgment of why it even published. There is really no reason to even comment if that's all that's gonna be said. I don't even see a reason for them not to just click away if they disdain it so much. Seeing nothing but this sort of thing also kills the desire to comment on the oneshot, because it seems useless to post it when other people are just going to focus on how it injured their sensibilities.
The comment section is sick lol, but it's fascinating to see how diff things are now than they used to be. Like some sort of parasite is slowly devouring the reading community. You want everything to be feel good, you pit actual countries against each other as if they're genres, pointing fingers at which one is more 'problematic' as if there is not a vast sea of works out there, and they were not made by a hive mind.
