So true! They should have focused more on that strange singular incident of supernatural with the brother if anything. Also I’m so confused about wowo’s boyfriend’s parents like were they killed or what? It’s all so confusing at this point.
Exactly. I kinda wanna know how Xinnian exchanged souls with that awful antagonist of the main story. I also wanted to see more brotherly bonding between Cinian and Xinnian because they surely missed a lot of times together. Nah Enrico’s parents are basically forgotten now because of these new characters. I hope they’re still alive but then this stepfather wouldn’t have any screen time at all if they showed them. I don’t think this sequel was well thought off. It’s truly sad because the main story was really good.
I agree so much! I thought it was just the translations that weren’t great but maybe the story has just taken a weird turn. Idk but I thought the adoptive/god father was the bad guy who kidnapped the parents to get enrico to do some sort of work for them but now it seems like they’re trying to make us like him. I think like everyone in the comments says these should be separated into different seasons. I was really shocked when wowo randomly grew up
The first few chapters actually kind of made it seem like it’s the stepfather who was the villain and now they’re saying that he saved Enrico. I’m not sure if the novel author has anything to do with this season or they just gave the artist the go signal to continue with the story as they like. Because I do believe that the novel author ended the story really well. It’s kind of losing it’s spark.

Nah as much as I love Wowo, I’m not quite feeling all this new characters being introduced. I couldn’t care less especially about the stepfather. I thought we would see more of the other two couples (Dr and Xiao mao, Ah Si and Xinnian). At this point I’m only looking forward to chibi Wowo’s shenanigans.
