how much do you guys wanna bet that Brienne killing dickface is a copout and it's actually Lureta whatever. this whole time it's been set up with how 'similar they look'. Aside from the 'oh that's why she's the dukes mistress' thing, even at that opera, there was some confusion. She has the motive, and I mean, it's kinda perfect. She has a history of using poison, and she's certainly insane enough to then stab him a bajillion times after. The only discrepancy is regarding the wayyyy earlier chapter that mentioned the slashes and stabs being inconsistent with a frail woman like the duchess.... but then again, "more meat on your bones" maybe the maid has more muscle and meat that leads to some grade a hysterical adrenaline murder power that explains it all away.
None of our MLs get their hands dirty(ier..) and neither does the FL (even though we all want her to murder him, I'm just speaking from a rofan authors POV)... Food for thought
I can see that happening, or they do kill him and blame the maid. Honestly I was hoping the maid would run away from them and stay away but she won’t and now they are gonna use her to save the fl after she kill her husband
