Yes i know how long it takes to carry a baby, I’m sure even rocks know that information. Considering they went bankrupt, had to take out loans from numerous sources to sustain their life, as well as running from loan sharks. I’m sure that happened longer than a course of a year. He was born there meaning they went there while she was in her later stages of being pregnant or she got pregnant while there. So it still aligns with her getting impregnated while struggling OR they somehow got numerous loans that only lasted 4 months which isn’t credible.

9 months is a long time. Parents normally avoid having abortions even if their economic situation isn't good because abortion can cause many complications to the mother. So even if the mother was impregnated and then they their business failed. They might have taken loans to pay for their failed businesses in next 2 months. But then they might have realized that all that money they borrowed isn't enough to cover for their failed business. So they borrowed again. This time they realised that their debts were racking up and they had very little money so even paying rent was hard, now they might have borrowed money from loan sharks and small goons to pay for rent, bills and interests. So it's not hard to imagine that they finally had to move to the red mansion and uke was born there.

Yes “Loan repayment terms typically range from two years to five years” but they borrowed from multiple sources. They also had to pay for their failed business (investors, business partners etc.) All those interest racking up can make a normal person poor within 2-3 months. The mother was pregnant so extra cost was also there for various things pregnant women need (eg- regular doctor checkups, medicines, multivitamin pills etc.)

That’s the thing, it makes no sense for the loans to be paid up to the next two months? If they were rich I doubt they were renting, the time still makes no sense. Also, giving birth under stress is also bad on a mother’s body. Giving birth itself is hard on a woman’s body. If abortion isn’t an option, adoption is. You’re telling me that you’d rather have your child live with you in a complex that is full of criminals and lawlessness due to your situation? (which is not fault of their own.) Look at where that decision led him to, a suicidal young adult that’s malnourished who gets beat to an inch of his life for trying to get them meds and only can be entertained by writing delusions in his notebook and being facefucked by a psychopath?

I'm not underestimating loan contracts but borrowing from multiple sources and paying for all those interests likely caused them to go piss poorand there might be this reason that they thought that they were moving to the red mansion for just 1-2 months but they ended up not making the numbers and earning became hard for them and also their malignant disease popped up so... They had no other option left. Also I do not understand what kind of parents will Move their child into a complex full of criminals and is basically lawless people. But ig the author didn't think this through or there might be some twist in lster chapters about uke's parents...
Also people in Asian countries normally don't really give up their children for adoption. I'm from Asia and NEVER have I ever even heard someone giving up their child for their economic situation... I guess that's an Asia thing haha

I'm not saying it was the loans, I'm saying it was the interests which had them stressed. And interests from multiple sources are actually like slow poison so... Also the parents actually were not that rich but they used to be doing okay but now they're just dirt poor. Also adoption is not really a thing in Asia so... Ik it was a bad decision on their part but if someone in society knew they gave up their child for adoption, they actually would've become a joke and their life would have been complete hell because nody Asian people would actually keep on bringing it up.

I’m from Korea where they put babies they don’t want in church boxes, it’s not as unheard of here as well as many of the asian adoptees as well Korea being the country with the most kids being put up for adoption. Maybe your country is different. That’s why I’m saying, I understand the loan terms here, as well as the adoption system and the story is based on Seoul so I don’t understand where they went wrong. We have Jeonse so if they were renting, they were pretty much rent free 2 years, also korea has a great pregnancy system so her pregnancy visits would’ve been free as well as her medication, and they also pay you when you give birth and send monthly checks.

But high rollers could mean anything. From a perspective of a dirt poor person, even a person who earns below average salary could be richer so... But let's drop it because I don't think the author was thinking this through. I've said all these against you because it's actually very hard for me to imagine parents doing this to their kids

High rollers by definition is rich people but you’re absolutely right with dropping it because I don’t feel the author was really thinking about the parents background when they introduced them. I think it was just put there thoughtlessly to give them a more “despair” feeling you know? To really make the uke pitiful and show a huge contrast to the seme who has a successful family.
I’m not going to lie, I’m a bit annoyed his parents decided to have a kid knowing they were financially unstable, if they die then he’s been taught NOTHING except taking care of them so he wouldn’t survive outside life because he’s only used to being cheated out of money and violence. Knowing that he had no dreams except for surviving the next day and fucking a psychopath makes me feel so bad for him.
