I think Jeong Min just wanted to leave Juwon alone so he can cry and relieve the stress without his pride being hurt. Some people prefer to have a few miserable moments to themselves after a failure, including myself, and they would hate others (even their loved ones) seeing them crumbling and breaking. Unlike what others said in comments, I can see some development in Jeong Min's personality and even when he keeps a straight face I can still feel his emotions, which is a plus compared to a few chapters earlier
