she most likely has a hard time dealing with her grief for her sister so while she cares a lot of him/or at least doesn’t want anything bad to happen to him(likely thought he was being assaulted), she also can’t open herself up emotionally to be maternal towards him. Just a guess though. Could also just be that she hates his guts but has some morals at least
I dont think she knew it was him in the car. She barely heard thw fight and smelled him pheromones and charged in. She probably thought it was some random omega. It wasnt until Asanaga fell down that Yanagi"s face was seen, that's why she is so shocked in the last panel
