The novel is from the bro POV and he's jealous with OGFL because she's got their parents attention and love all the time. (When actually she's been sold to ML because the father have their own agenda)

Turns out the ML and FL were the two children's parents that had died and were reincarnated without the memories of their previous lives. This is one of the main reasons why the FL is able to see the children as kids rather than dragons. The ML on the other hand is completely in the blind. After the FL begged for a second chance for them all to be a happy family, God reset time for them and even gave our FL a trial run of living in another life before going back into her first life. Their deaths were just illusions created by the world's god so that their plane of existence wouldn't crumble. The god also had to instil some fake illusions into peoples memories, so the ML never had a brother as that brother was actually him from his previous life, However everyone remembers his past self as his now diseased brother. I was so shocked when i read this and what's even more shocking is that i made all of this up and i have absolutely no idea what i'm talking about.
