its because of the misunderstanding. The manhwa completely deviates from the novel. He wasnt a scumbag more like hurt distrustful at first but he loves the mc so. Its completely different from the novel and a lot of the background or parts from the novel is ommitted making it look like the ml is a scumbag and plus the genre is 18+ here so its completly different
Bruh i hate the manwha for this. I loved the novel plot so much. This could've been THE isekai gaming BL that would make the genre explode.
