Still in chapter 73...

This is definitely quite unlike solo-levelling. SL had too much posturing and egomania wrapped up in it. Though this manga has its own problems. For me that is, in case someone is offended again & lol decides to witch-hunt me in the comment section. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

1. The mc was a porter before he becomes a hunter. I have only read till the early 70s but so far, the mc lacks even basic information about anything. (/TДT)/

Eg: He has been told beforehand that he is to hunt a golem, but does no research on its weakness, strengths but wins the fight by improvising. Idk how I feel about that. His personality is calm & you'd think he'd strategise before a fight. But this guy doesn't. (⊙…⊙ )

2. He depends on the old guy porter for everything. They are both porters and I admit that the information they have access to are different. But it wouldn't be a bad idea to sometimes use your own brain for convincing the readers why you are the mc.

3. That whole astoroth thing was so ott. Its like the author was itching to add in another female to the panel. Why do all these authors make the female demons so human-like (in this case, even having loli-element, since the whole artstyle is following a middle school theme for some reason) that we the readers are not convinced about having to fear them. ( ̄へ ̄)

That is not the case for the monsters. The depictions of golem, goblin etc were not generic and original. I wish the artist had applied the same principles to the females ( ̄へ ̄)

4. Again, this mc has so many skills but he really doesn't use any of them. Only the power strike and that hook thing. Idky ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

5. I understand not wanting to be OP, but this mc is an actual noob. So far, his fights have been fought with guns, bombs, hook etc. In the golem scene, this guy didn't even add mana to the bazookas since these weapons were brought over by the old guy ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Anyway, my thoughts so far
