It was definitely dumb, but his whole world collapsed and he went through massive trauma (whether he acknowledges it or not) in a very short period of time. Also, the relationship is much more skewed than most. Ryousuke is his boss. Every single aspect of Suzuhara’s life has revolved around him since childhood. Not a single aspect of his life is not under Ryousuke’s control. He just uses and abused Suzuhara with no regard for the emotional toll and strain it puts on him. Even if the abuse hadn’t happened, by dating him, Suzuhara would fracture his relationship with his family, change the dynamic with his workplace friends, and deal with the guilt of not being able to give him a child. He has no support system, was severely abused by someone he’s heavily dependent on, then ditched by them. He was in a very vulnerable state and malicious people noticed and took advantage

Ooopss, I accidentally click the post XD Yeah, you have a point. But I just can't help but be annoyed at his action not just to him but also to the seme. They clearly have feelings for each other but instead of talking it out they've chosen to hide it. It just so frustrating to read but I still want to know the end of the story. I just hope that the uke won't be harassed in the next chapter and the both of them will reconcile l.
Well they both have feelings, but the semi decided that since Suzuhara refused to be with him, that he would just drug and rape him regularly for years while increasing his psychological dependence. Suzuhara cares very much about Ryousuke’s quality of life and want him to succeed in everything he sets out to, but just sees the idea of their relationship as a weight that would drag him down. Ryousuke on the other hand really doesn’t care about Suzuhara’s thoughts or feelings. He never actually tries to win him over, but makes many manipulative and criminal overtures to corner him into agreement. All those years sleeping with a ton of people in front of someone you like. Of course they won’t think they can fill that void. There are many ways Ryousuke could have shown his affection or built a foundation so that Suzuhara would be more secure in a relationship, but he didn’t, because Suzuhara is a favored possession that is supposed to be obedient, not a cherished partner to be respected. Sure, he’ll come to the rescue if someone else is abusing him, but that’s less to do with genuine concern than the fact that he hates the idea of other people touching his possession. His pissed that other people are trying to SA Suzuhara but saw no issue doing the same thing to him repeatedly for years. Sorry, but at that point it’s not about affection, but possession and ownership
