Goodluck to you! I'm taking Japanese 1 this year and it's pretty hard since there are many different hiragana columns to memorize. Reviewing everyday will actually help you memorize them.
Good luck! I'm on my fourth year of learning Japanese and I still am nowhere near being about to translate. Hiragana and katakana are fine but kanji is really hard. You can do it!!

starting next week, i'm going back to school again!
going to a japanese school to learn how to read and write full pledge nihongo! gonna be hard but when i finish it then i'd be able to contribute to the yaoi society by helping to translate mangas!
