For the question, it's so true and even a bit tiresome not only in body shape but they all look identical.. the muscular x twink 4'9 body types are getting old.
I like when they are either both muscular (or just fit/toned) or they both have an average body type (like for ex: the author Tagura Tohru, and their character designs because it feels much more realistic and natural)
I wouldn't want realistic body types in yaoi...the entire point is they look better than real people. If they looked realistic I'd be turned off

I think that's why they act like they're in kids-because if you were trying to learn Korean and attempted to read this beginners could read it, but you would be an adult who knows English. So you're physically an adult, but linguistically you're in 1st grade in Korean.
