I think I also read from the same account as you did after finishing the novel in Yonder. And if I try to explain Matthias's character, I get attacked instead, some people even swore at me, called me blind and said I should not normalize rape and toxicity like tf?? If they don't like the story (more like can't understand shit cuz they only read it on the surface and not in between the lines, then they are better off dropping it instead of spouting false spoilers and assumptions.
