A few chap ago it was said that Kartein hurt his ego by coming to his face just to refuse to heal [him]. It wasn't him who inflictided the wound. However I think the translation made a small mistake back then since Kartein looks like he didn't know who he had to heal

i always thought kartein was the one who inflicted this wound on astra and that’s why no one else could heal him. but now i’m confused since kartein seemed shocked as well.. （´。＿。｀）
