Why are people so mean to bad translators

The ppl who often reply rude ig maybe because most of them are teenager kids around 11 to 15
Some or maybe most of teenager kids are usually rude sometimes because most of them are excited (happened during teenage) so they unaware most of their they hurts others from their words yes in it their own fault too including their family background, society and the social media contains they consuming

"Why do people have to be so rude to people who do shitty translations?" bruh, you called bad translations shitty yourself. lol. I understand what point you're trying to make. But perhaps its better to look inwardly first before acting like a smart mouth.

We condemn bad translation cause it's bad translation. If you dont have the ability to translate it grammatically correct in the first place, why bother? People hate the translations that's sooo bad, it's incomprehensible, that we just can't help comment about it to warn others or just to make the uploader aware. Yes it's hurtful for the reciever due to the use profanity to describe their own translation but it isn't condemning them as a person, just their grammatical capability to translate.

If you want better translation go to the official website and PAY for yourself, don't cuss people out here, they got nothing from y'all reading their translation not a penny, some people dedicated their time and resources so we can read it for FREE. You here leeching off and still got the nerves to complain, if you think you can do better go translate it yourself.

I dont think they deserve to be cussed off but if they're doing a job I am expecting them to be good at it. Like supposedly say a singer... if she is new I expect her to be good at what she does and I have the right to criticize her if she is bad at that, that's like saying "if you cannot do it that means you cannot criticize her" if you are not good at something then I suggest you don't do it. Obviously the absurd amount of hate is stupid but people can criticize and be dissatisfied with it.

My first response actually missed some few thoughts of mine. Anyways, no. Just because i want atleast a decent translation from solo uploaders i have no rights to point out mistakes about their translations and should pay on the official website. You do realise that if a manhwa does have an official english translation they wouldn't even think of translating it right? They can just screenshot the official and post it here, it'll be much hassle free.

"some people dedicated their time and resources so we can read it for FREE" yeah news flash they also got those from an aggregator site where they also got it for FREE and I'm 99% sure that the "translation" they're posting that they dedicated their time and resources on, came from a free online translator called google.

A for the effort of editing tho, i give them that.

Ok before people start coming for my throat I DONT HATE THE UPLOADERS/TRANSLATORS who do this, i dislike their translation and that's it~ y'all can improve, keep practicing ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Hating on their work means hating on that said person who got the work done, no? You got enough time to type out all that comments so why not joining their translation team and actually do it better than them? Some people translate it using Google translate because of request from others, even though they can't speak the OG language or English as good as you do, they still try to do it the best they can, some people does all the work on their own on a whole manga so cut them some slack, and as I said before IF YOU WANT TO READ IT WITH BETTER TRANSLATION, GO TO THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE, even some of those "shitty translator" do pay so we can read it for free. And who would want to upload a half ass translation here just to get hated on, I bet they try their best too. Why use all those profanities and drag someone else down just cause you can't afford the better translation, words can get really stuck on your head even when it feels like it is just some silly cussing or a stupid cuss word just to makes you seem cool, but to the person who's receiving them it can effect them mentally, I'm speaking from experience(I'm both, I used to get bullied which makes me become a bully unconsciously, most of the time I didn't even realise I was bullying others, in my mind I was protecting myself before they get a chance to attack but to the other person I'm still a bully) so please let's be kind to each others and correct each other with kinder and softer words.

I aint arguing no more, you have your points i have my points, let's call it a truce. I'm also a translator but in another medium and it just pains me seeing bad translation ruining a good story. I can say, in my defense, i have never used profanity on describing such translation here cause it ain't the worse I've seen yet, I'm just explaining why people use such words and hate the translation.
