is MC still as expendable to ML? it’s hard for me to discern his feelings for MC

imo based on his actions and how hes protected yiseon, he is using yiseons powers as an excuse for why he wants to keep him at his side. he doesnt /need/ to go to such lengths and protect him but he is! so he probs will keep him at his side
