Hmmmmm

I'm kind of disappointed because the scene in the holy kingdom doesn't have the same vibe as the novel. It could just be because of the art style but in the novel, it felt more intense and you could really tell how despised Jesse was by the Holy Kingdom Prince Consort (more unsettling). But I feel like this gave me more cartoon villain vibes whereas in the novel the scene felt more raw (Jesse's family dynamic/background is actually so tragic). Also in the novel, I felt like there was more of an energy shift after the sibling came in (very hot and cold vibes to hint at the difference in treatment/love between the siblings). I kind of hope they can channel the intensity better in the future because idk how some of these scenes are going to be conveyed later (it's been a bit since I read the novel but there are definitely some emotional scenes and idk how that's going to work with this style).
