After losing Owlman, did Ultraman have an epiphany and finally realize that he loved him? If that's the case, I think that it's awesome that he had a second opportunity to pursue the path of righteousness. He was fortunate to have entered another universe where Bats had lost his Superman. Now they can both grieve and love each other.
