In Germany going to the hospital is also usually free, but you still wouldn’t do it just because of a simple fever. If it is not a real emergency but you still want a doctor to have a look at it, you’ll go to a doctor‘s office.

Same ..my government hospital also usually free of charge but in government clinic ..you need to pay around 0.24 USD , to see the doctor and get your medication
cultural differences ig. when i went back to china my cousin had a fever and went to the hospital. i thought it was odd but it seems common in china? idk about the money side of things tho. i hear more abt people going to hospitals than doctors offices in china tho tbh. idk the full cultural context tho so yeah.

I noticed that in manhuas/manhwa the characters go to the hospital for the stupidest reasons ,like he just fell in the water and had a little fever, why going to the hospital ,it's unnecessary! (I don't know if it's like a cultural reason, if you know tell me)
