I guess since they live with Sam's parents he might be want to tone it down a bit out of respect to their parents. He obviously grateful and love his new adopted parent that maybe the reason why. Hopefully he'll give Sam more attention though. Don't worry all these hard work is because he is planning to give Sam something to seal the deal???! I think If my memory is correct.
I sincerely don't know what's going through Min Gyeom's head. Seriously. Maybe he wants Chun Sam to be more... agressive? To take the lead? I don't even know. He looks happy, but it's clear that Chun Sam is at a loss because Min Gyeom's not being clear with his feelings.
